Atenea Quartet with Jaren Ziegler (viola)
The Atenea Quartet was founded in 2019 in Barcelona. An internationally acclaimed ensemble dedicated to exploring the vast string quartet repertoire. They were a finalist in the 2023 Young Classical Artists Trust international auditions, and are currently based in Basel, Switzerland.
Jaren Ziegler won the BBC Young Musician String Final in 2022, aged 16, becoming the first violist in the competition’s history to do so.
